
Søren A Singel, MD, FACS
Dr. Søren A. Singel provides patient-centric, compassionate neurosurgical care to families in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has received subspecialty training in cerebrovascular, spinal, oncological, and trauma neurosurgery. He completed fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology.
Dr. Singel is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Following medical and doctorate studies in Berlin, Germany he completed a three-year post-doctoral fellowship in brain repair and molecular neurobiology at the McGill Centre for Research in Neuroscience – Centre de recherche en neurosciences (CRN), Université McGill, Montréal, Québec, Canada under Albert Aguayo.
He received undergraduate and clinical education in the People’s Republic of China, and additional visiting fellowship experience in Asia including Taiwan and Singapore.
His focus is on superior outcomes and a better experience by combining cutting-edge technology and evidence-based surgical care for complex conditions of the brain, spine and nerves.
